The IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph Spitfire was introduced in 2004 as a more luxurious take on IWC's iconic pilot's chronograph. Dial and movement remain the same; the dial is however more elaborate, with applied numerals and various textures. The hands are now of the alpha / sword style. The 3706 Spitfire exists with either a black or silver dial, a choice of languages for the date disc, and either a leather strap or stainless steel bracelet.
